holders and inserts.
• Three simple stages form the basis of the
Scafftag® system.
1 Unsafe to Use
The basic Scafftag® holder, which incorporates a
“Do Not Use Scaffold” / Unsafe For Use warning.
2 Fit for Use
One side of the Scafftag® insert (usually green)
provides the facility to identify specific safety
information relating to its use. When this side of
the insert is in view, the equipment is “Fit for Use”
at the time of inspection.
3 Regular Inspection Record
The reverse of the Scafftag® insert (usually yellow)
provides space to enter details of regular safety
inspections.
The complete Scafftag system comes in a pack that
incorporates 10 Scafftag holders, 20 inserts and
2 permanent marker pens.
